The Partners In Research Essay Contests
The annual essay contests co-sponsored by Partners in Research
are more popular than ever, with contests operating in Ottawa (Secondary), Toronto (Secondary),
and London (Secondary
and Elementary).
The contest provides an opportunity for science teachers to enhance their curriculum format, while developing students’ literacy, both written and scientific and an opportunity for students to hone their research, analysis, and writing skills, with a chance to win some great prizes! The topics for this years writing contest are:
What are
your views on genetic testing?
Is the human genome project worthwhile? Should human cloning be allowed?
If you have an opinion about these and
other topics related to health research, why not write an essay
on it (or, for teachers and parents, encourage your student or
child to do so)?
