Partners in Research has once again
joined forces with Friends of CIHR (along with Genome Canada, CIHR and
Great West Life/London Life), in the development and Canadian distribution
of an all-new educational calendar.
As in previous years, Calendar 2003 is
designed to serve an educational role to help Canadians understand the
wonders of medical research and the health sciences. Using interesting
facts and beautiful images, it spotlights several exciting areas of health
research such as proteomics and genomics, and it commemorates the 50th
anniversary of the discovery of the DNA structure. It also highlights a
cadre of New Investigators in the Canadian Institutes of Health Research
family.
The calendar has been widely distributed to
high schools in Canada, and to researchers and leaders in government and
the university community. As an educational tool, it is useful and
instructive, and serves as a reminder that quality of health care is
directly related to investments in health research.
We invite you to explore this
commemorative calendar - you won't be disappointed!
