Information for Teachers
This teacher's guide explores the science behind such
landmark discoveries as antibiotics and the rabies vaccine, as well as the
understanding of diabetes mellitus and the functioning of the immune system.
A glossary for each story has been included at the end of
the teacher's guide and may be supplied to each student or used as an additional
activity (i.e., to search for definitions). If you are a teacher interested in
